The all-in-one file manager for Mac

Manage local files
the way you use a browser.

DirDeck brings tabs, multiple panes, bookmarks, Super Preview, built-in file tools and fast search into one app. Fewer windows. Less back-and-forth.

  • Built for macOS
  • Files stay local
  • No account required

All in One

One window for everyday file work.

Open folders in browser-style tabs. When you need to compare or move files, switch to one-to-four panes and keep several locations in view. Bookmark files and folders, nest them, and rearrange them by drag. Come back later and each pane is still where you left it.

  1. Browser-style tabs
  2. 12 one-to-four-pane layouts
  3. Bookmark files and folders
  4. Multi-level bookmarks you can rearrange by drag

Nested bookmark bar

Keep everyday locations a bookmark away.

Add files or folders to the bookmark bar, organize bookmarks across multiple levels, then drag to change their order or hierarchy. Open the bookmark you need instead of retracing the path.

Super Preview

See inside folders and archives—without opening them.

Browse every folder and file entry inside a folder or archive without opening it or extracting the archive first. Wherever you are in DirDeck, select any file or folder and press Space to enter Super Preview. Step from a folder into an archive, expand a subfolder inside it, and reach a supported image, video, document or other preview without opening more windows.
